Now.. this is the worst case scenraio. I bought an externale modem ONLY for use with linux and now linux ain't detecting it. I'm using fedora core 4. It is a frontech USB modem and frontech has no drivers for linux. Is there any way I can still use my modem...

The best solution is switch to windows xp man this is the best os i ever seen in my life bye. and yes u can visit tech-forum.perfectschools.com here u can find one section for linux related problem

i know win xp is great and that's what i am using right now. But i am doing some KDE programming with Qt and also php programming for which linux is the best environment as most of the servers use linux, so using linux as an alternative OS is a must to me. Hence I need a modem that shall work there.
