Default Help needed in making a pc in the range of 35-36k


hello der everyone plz can u help me in building a pc for the range of 35k-36k for my cousin bro he needs its mainly for some lite games nd browsing nd music i m frm delhi so it wulkd be better if i culd get the prices of delhi
nd is there ny site tht has all these prices of the components

u can go for the following config:-
1-AMD64 3000+,3200+ (939 socket)-5.5k/7.5k
2-Asus A8N-VM CSM MOBO-4.5k
3-256*2 or 512*2 400MHz (Kingston,Transcend) Ram-2.2k/4.2k
4-DVD-RW (SONY)-2.8k
5-Samsung 17" Flat CRT Monitor-Sm 793MB,798MB-6.5k
6-Logitech MM KB & Optical mouse-.8k
7-Altec Lancsing ATP3 (2.1),Altec Lancsing 251(5.1),Creative Inspire(5.1)-2.8k/3.8k/3.9k
8-Seagate 160GB SATA-3.8k
9-Powersafe 400watt SMPS-1.3k
10-Numeric 600VA UPS-1.8k
11-Cabinet of ur choice-1k
this config shud come under 35k.

For casual gamer this is a pretty decent rig.

For casual gamer this is a pretty decent rig.
I would recommend the same config but if you can extend your budget just a little bit (maybe Rs. 2,000) and you sacrifice on something in the above config, you can throw in an XFX GeForce 6600 GT 128 MB graphics card as well (I don't know the exact price, maybe someone living in New Delhi can guide you).

6-Multimedia Keyboard && Optical Key board - Rs 600
7-Altec Lancsing 251 5.1 Speakers - Rs 3800
8-Seagate 80GB SATA - Rs 2400
9-Zebronics antibiotic Cabinet with 400W SPMS - Rs 1500


Total - Rs 36000

Eighty GB is too meagre, man! Get a hard drive above 150 GB.

yep all are ok but definitly go for 1 gb ram since Vista will require it.The graphics card is more than enough.And go for a 160 GB SATA HDD.
