[URGENT]Keyboard mapped. HELP :)

Guys my keyboard is mapped in Win XP. How to revert it back ? i tried uninstalling it n reinstalling it through device manager. It works like a charm in WIN 98. I have run anitvirus,Spywares,Trojans detectors, Adwares, etc. But problem wasnt solved. Any idea why is this happening and how to solve it ?

My keyboard is compaq pressario's keyboard and i have stopped using the the O.S that was bundled with it.

Goto Control Panel>regional settigns>language>details>
chk here to see the ur keyboard is usig US layout under English Language
if not click add> select US form the keyboard layout drop down list...
delete any other enteries..
