@parimal_xp2003 parimal_xp2003....
I want to use Tv as a monitor.....

@ashfame
I had connected my phillips DVD player to computer but using a tv tunner card....
i had connected the video out of the dvd player to composite of tv tunner... n then used the bundled software o view it....

@Kniwor
main problem is tht i dont know where would i get tht cable......
i tried online searches but no indian shopping site has got tht cable....
also tht cable is for 4.99$ outside india... but the shipping is limited for america n uK only....
Eventhough some one has tht cable it would only work on HDTV (supporting high resolution) not ordinary TV...
By chance it works than resolution will be limited till 800*600 ----> my guess

BUt anyways please answer my question....
I am not confirmed wheter tht would work so im asking out u guys....
tht if anyone has tried tht....

yeah i had earlier seen a tv connected insted of monitor...
it was a 29" thomson tv but the result was not too good, u can watch movies an all, the tv resolution is low as u suspect.... te fonts are hard to read as not clear, back then, i was a noob and was not interested in comps, so i dont remember how it was done by the guys.... but it was not anything impressive

it limits cuz my frnd is having Fx 5200
n maximum resoution he gets is 800*600
blame it to 29" philips Tv or Graphic card...
but tht true....
was wondering will tht remain same if we connect tht to HDTV....
