Try to clean the lens and then try. What brand is it(DVD Drive)? Why are u using both DVD Rom and DVD Writer as any one would serve ur purpose (just curious)? More devices means more power requirement, right.

It is not about speed or performance but using more devices puts strain on ur SMPS. A good SMPS will take the load easily but a not so good one will cause problem.
By the way it was just my suggestion, don't panic. For ur config. a good 400W SMPS will do fine.
Regarding the drive, does it has problem reading that particular disk or all of them. If it's still under warranty then get it replaced or repaired by SONY.
