Hey Everyone!!

Iam planning to buy a new laptop...
budget wud be around 40-45k..

main criteria wud be >
15.0 or 15.4" screen size
512Mb RAM
40GB HDD

and ofcourse shud have good after sales support here in India!

sahara/gigabyte are out of my mind..
lenovo is a lil too costly...

thinking abt going ahead with HP or compaq low end model with 256MB RAM and 40GB HDD and upgrade the RAM to 512...ny suggestions ????

hi...even i m in delima...i m planning to fo in for a lappy...for the last 30 days or so...but cldnt decide whch one to go..for...
dell inspiron 640m is an awsum deal...
though it costs...48000(you can stretch ur budget till there...i hope so)..
its config is impressive..duo core processor...
lenovo...is deff..heavy on pocket...but that is the best lappy...in market..as far as my..15 days market reaserch goes...
its steardy...not gonna trouble you..for next 3 yrs.surely...n they do hav good after sales support system...
its damn reliable..
only..thin..dat is stoppin me..from buyin this damn master peice is d budget...
i cant stretch up...beyond..50k.
if not..lenovo..
then...DELL the genius...
its powerpacketd...well priced..
but again..i m not exactly..sure about..their after sales...service...
as i m also new to laptops...never had one before...i will go for reliability..performance..no sho off..n after sales..support..
hp/compaq are good though...but their config. n my friendz opinions..n not positive....
dont think of acer/hcl/gigabyte/MCIss etc etc...
ya the last..contender..is toshiba....but man!!!!..too exspensive..still not got hold..of its...duo core processor modal..in the market..
