dvd trouble

i hv a LG dvd-rom drive sometimes its working properly. But sometimes i does no ejects no matter whatever i try so at the end i hv to use a pin to eject it

when a cd is kept in it then there is no problem with the drive ejecting out.

so plz tell me what the problem is?

is the problem related to lens assembly?

this is most common problem ,and thats why pin hole eject is given.(you can call it as aging problem).problem is with locking tray assembely of cd/dvd rom . if this mechinal lock does not work properly,then result is what you are getting -STRIKE

This is most common problem with LG.If possible try to change.

You will not ahve any problem with the lens. It is after all a mechanical prob. It does occur in other drives. Jus call the LG customer care

its nothing to do wit DVD lens Its d problem of grear assembly or what is so called lock in drives u can't do anything about it.if u know how 2 resolve do by urself or go to a nearby vendor.
