I have a Samsung Combo drive and off late I seem to be getting errors when I try to burn a complete CD at once. The errors seem to be concentrated towards the end of the disc ( found out through NERO Test drive).
This doesn't seem to occur when I burn only a part of the full capacity (say about 200 -300 Mb). But as soon as I exceed a certain capacity (say 500 Mb), I start to get errors when I try to verify written data.

Not sure how to fix that specific problem..but these might help:
1) Burn CD at no more than 8X speed...reduces errors.
2) Make sure the writer aint too hot when u start writing....heat up tends to incorporate errors in writing.
3) Never write the CD to its max. capacity...say around 660-680MB is ok .
4) Uncheck the Verify data option once...try writing...then run a check on the CD after writing + Try using NERO7.4.1.....its good !
@Digifriend:I hav been using MoserBaer for as long as I can remember and this prob just proppped up!
@Garius: I have been burnin CD's at 48 to 52x prevoiusly without any problems. How do I make a copy of another CD(of >600 Mb) if I dont burn it to the max ?
