AMD CPU SPEED 3200+

i am planning to buy amd 3200+ within 3-4 days. i do not know much about amd. so getting a asus a8n-vm + amd 3200+ and 1 gb transcend ram.

but i do not know which core should i take and what details. also i want to know the comparative speed of 3000+ 3200+ 3500+ vs that of intel line of processors.

i have intel 865gbf and 2.4 i mb p IV processor 478 pin package. will my new 3200+ amd + asus a8n-vm match its performance.......???

also please quote current market price of 3000+ 3200+ 3500+ asus & a8n-vm and which product number and which core of amd to get like i heard something called vinice core.....

3000+ is 1.8 GHZ 512kb L2 cache
don't know rest of the C.S but u can check it out at www.amd.com/athlon64
I recommend u to get a 939 socket coz it has 128 bit memory controller and supports dual channel memory. But socket 754 has a 64 bit mem comtroller.
