1)will definetly boast ur PC's performance

2)first configure it jumpher to set the drive as slave there should be a pic. on the HDD showing how to do it then connect it to the IDE cable's middle connector

welll... the 2 will cost u how much...??
1000 for ram and 3000 for HDD...

adding HDD will not be any boost...

so if u can sell ur mobo/procy for decent.... get another one...

and the mobo/procy upgrade will cost just a bit more...

but that will be big performance increase

Adding Ram will help but adding an HDD won't speed up your pc.Get a new HDD only if you feel you need more storage.

thnx
1)any way the ram cost me around 1200 but the HDD is not 3000 only 2300

2)also is there any problem if there 160 gb storage and only 512 mb RAM

3)also is it ok if add a 512 mb ddr ram stick to my current 256 mb??
how much will 512 mb cost??hynix DDRD RAM .....

4)dont u think a total 788 mb DDR RAM WUD BE BETTER if it fits my budget !!

5)also tell me how will changing the mobo boost performance??i have very less chances of changing mobo!!!

6)is my current processor ok and will give good performance??
(if its not that good i may change whole CPU later on after increasing my budget)

7)will all games work on my pc in medium quality (as agp card only 128 mb) after increasing the RAM to 788 MB !!
if no then which will be good AGP card of 256 mb within 5000???

thank u i hope u will be able to solve all the problems !! thnx in advance

plzz >is there no harm in attachin 2 hard disks of diff RPMs (one 7400 and other 5400 ) as i have an old 10 gb hdd !!

2. No problem
3. I would not suggest that... different modules have often been cause of complications
4. already said
5. no problem if u cant change it
6.depends on what u want to do... it is not a really fast processor but it is ok if u dont want to do too much gaming
7. Now if u actually going to spend 5000 on an agp because dont want to change ur mobo... this is foolishness...
better sell ur mobo/procy... get a new mobo/procy if u have that much budget..
but if u are very tight on budget then u can go on with the ram+HDD

U can add ram but make sure both the speeds are same (400-400)(533-533)(667-667) etc.It perfectly fine having 160 gig HDD with a 512 MB ram.
adding ram will surely boost ur pc's performance
