Lighscribe DVD Writer

Hi, all
i was planning to buy a writer.Should i go for a lightscibe.The lite-on writer is not much costly the price difference being just 1000 bucks.So should i buy that.And also what about media availability.Is lightscibe media easily available and what is the cost difference normal media and the lightscibe media.

did u mean to say a 100 bucks instead of thousand....
because HP lightscribe DVD writer was available for 3400 a couple of months ago.... i got one (for 1 of my friends) ant it's working fine also...

The cd's are available but are costly .... i dont remember it right now but i recollect they are available

No I meant 1000 only.Well i dont know the real prices am going with the feb2006 digit prices only.Someone has any idea of the lightscribe media prices specially DVD's

HP Lightscribe DVD 10-pack will cost you $ 34.99. Dont know the rates in India though.
