Suggest better TV capture tuner

please tell me what tv tuner is the best one for capturing videos and picturs at high quality...and tell me is there any specialls

if u want to capture a high quality picture then u should go for pinnacle pctv tunner with mpeg4 recording(around 12000) or u can also go for same card with mpeg2 recording(around 4000) which i am using right now...

same here, especially plat tv pro 2, and their bundled sw honestech tv. It finds the channels but never stores them

Whts the purpose of buying tv Vunner card..
I mean do u need for professional puropess or just for watching Tv on ur Pc n recording them at good quality..
If u need for professional puposes go for wht shri007 suggested.
o relse for home puposes go for media center one frm pinnacle..
@ 2500 pinnacle PCTV 100i is good...
My frnd hav one n its stunning.. also recording videos is gud, but for tht u need a good rig say abt having more than 512 ( 1gb recommended) ram n good processor...

@ymhatre:having 512 MB or 1 gig of RAM is not a necessity,256 MB will do just fine.What u do need is a fast proccy and a fast hard disk

Brat i have tested this...
Even though pinnacle suggest tht 256 is recomended..
but capturing videos or pausing live Tv... needs good ram..
I do agree with u tht it needs an good HDD
but 2day everyone almost have an HDD of &200 Rpm withlots of space..
