Default sound channel supported by intel 810e

i want to upgrade my speakers to an altec lansing atp3. but i was wondering whether my mobo supports 2.1 or not? the soudn chip is ess allegro

yes all onboard audio support atleast 2.1 channel speaker. So ur 810e also does and u can connect the ATP3. By the way I am also thinking of buying the same, could u pls tell me the price for it.

He man any sound card supporting stereo speakers will support 2.1 setup. 2.1 has got nothing just a extra speker which gets the low frequency outputs from bothe the channel and produces the sound

the atp3 costs around 2000-3000 in delhi. mumbai should also be same. btw thanks.

Altec Lansing ATP3 cost around Rs.1200 in kolkata and your 810E mobo would definitely support any 2.1 speaker configuration.
