Default BIOS update for i810E chipset Mobo

Hi guys,

Am having a old i810E Mobo (Vintron) with cel 500 MHz proc that was running Win98. I wanted to Install WinXP and so tried. But when the installation is almost at its finishing stage I get the Blue Screen of Death Error.

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
STOP : 0x0000000A (pm1, pm2, pm3, pm4)

I tried removing all the devices including onboard sound, modem etc.. reset BIOS settings to 'Fail Safe', tried a PCI VGA, but still the BSOD is persistant.

I tried for a BIOS update for the mobo in the net, but can't get any. Tried Windrivers, Driverguide... , but nope.

The BIOS String is 09/03/1999-i810-ITE8712-6A69MSMDC-00

Wim's BIOS lists the manufacturer as San-Li/MaximaTech/SuperPower, but none of the company or their site is now accessible. Is there anyother way I can put XP on this Comp like choosing what hardware to install during installation. Thanks for your time.
