And moreover this is in the wrong section. Requesting the mods to move it to the hardware section.

yeah u might be able to get FX-60 shipped from outside...
and it will not cost u too much... i mean if u get a X2 3800+ or X2 4400+ shipped from outside it costs roughly the same as here...
just let us know ur budget etc and we can help u decide

i guess his budget is around 1.5 to 2 lakh INR coz AMD FX 60 procee costs approx 1000 $$$ in the US. so u can easily guess what the price would be in INR. and since he is going for an extreme rig the mobo would be a top end ASUS SLI mobo, atleast 2 GB of PATRIOT RAM, 2 X 7900 GTX cards, atleast 2 WD 74GB Raptor HDD, ANTEC cabinet and true power PSU, a 19" LCD/TFT monitor, an APC UPS etc. all high end parts.

if u wanna upgrade on the same mobo go for INTEL D 940 EXTREME EDITION!!!!!
Nvidia geofrce 7800 GTX
2 GB RAM
or AMD upgrade will be :
ASUS A8N SLI DELUXE mobo ====> 18000
AMD FX 57 not 60 bcoz hardly any diff is there in there performance,instead 57 performs better in some benchmarks!!!!
57 is meant for gaming!!!!
two ATI X 1900 XT in SLI mode (625 mhz,512 mb,1.45 ghz,gddr3,48 pixel processor,8 vertex shaders)=====35000 or u can go for

ATI X1900XT in crossfire mode, you may say. But I strongly recommend Nvidia 7800/7900 series.
So my reco will be:
AMD FX-57 / 4800+ X2
Asus A8N-SLI premium
Nvidia 7900GT/GTX (not sure whether available in India, other 7800GTX)
2GB corsair RAM in dual channel mode
Other components depending on budget, but this is the core. Man, I dream to have that kind of money some day. Seems like he has won a lottery...hehe...
