Default How to connect two monitor????? HELP PLEASE

I have ASUS Sli Deluxe Mother Board and Asus NVIDIA GeForce 6200 TurboCache. It got a VGA Connect and DVI-D Connector. I bought DVI-D connecter cable for connecting second monitor spending around Rs. 600. Both the Monitor are CRT 17" Samsung. When I connect the one end of the cable to DVI-D (PCI Express Card) and other end to my second monitor I get a message saying NO SIGNAL. I need to connect Dual monitor to my computer.

Not ready to spend on DUAL SLI PCI Express Card (Very Expensive)

PLEASE ANYONE HELP.

WHAT Is different between DVI-I and DVI-D.???

Any ASUS DUAL PCI Express Card available in Market?
MODEL NAME Please

Thank you

i think im just tired but i dun think i quite got what u said ..
anyways to ENABLE dual monitor support ull have to do it thru display properties in windows

u cant just plugin the second monitor and expect to have both the screens on

in display properties .. in the last tab ( settings i think )
click on the second monitor it shows u
right click on it and select "active"
then click "extend my windows desktop to this monitor)
make sure this is "NOT" set to default and that ur monitor 1 is default ..
i hope this helps u ..
