problem in pc....

some times my pc automatically restarts .ther is no virus, no earthing problem... can any body help , wats the exact problem......
i had two os-98 & xp-prof...

the possibles problem could b..
1. overheating.
2. corrupt window files.
3. hardware conflict.
4. smps problem....

there can be more possibilities...

giv completedetail of your system and the nature of prob or the last thing that u did before this started.

post ur sys config and software u r running while the pc restarts . do u get any bsod

try to be more specfic on u'r problem,it can be anything varying from corrupted o/s to faulty SMPS,please post u'r pc config.

And also where it restarts in XP or in Both.
HOw it restarts i mean normal way, where all programs gets close n then restarts Or suddnely blank and then restarts ....

If there is no viruses nor bad sys flies,then it is sure that it is problem of SMPC Or May be RAM

But check SMPC.
