well the lowest price available cards r those of geforce4 mx 4000 128 mb...however these r outdated and r DirectX 8.0 cards
costs abt 2000 bucks

another low end card is geforce fx 5200, around rs. 2500 for 128 mb, but they say it doesnt have a fast enuff gpu nor bandwidth to utilise all of the memory.
also it will b able to play almost all new games but at a low res only
directx 9 compatible

geforce 5700 cards r much better and were mid-end cards in jan 2005 but now they too r hard to find.

the best bet wud b geforce fx 6200 128 mb frm xfx for abt rs.3700
u can play all the latest games.

better cards r also there but then for entry level and low budget the above card is gud enuff.
currently geforce 5200 for guys on very low budget, and 6200 recommended for slightly deeper pockets

i my self have GeForce 6600 256 mb...........
its working fien for me.............
and its also not so costly...............
only Rs.6400 (INDIA--MUMBAI)....
but if ur budget is less then go for
GeForce 6200 256 either AGP or PCI Express.........

hello 5000 isnt a low end budget..u can easily get 6200 for lower than that.

depnding on whether or not ur mobo supports pci-e, u can go in for geforce 6200 agp or pcie card
