cpu speed problem

Hi all

I m using P3 ,OS win98se, when i start the computer every time i get a msg that select Your CPU speed and press a key to boot. After pressing a key BIOS automatically get open. I m worried that have some problem in my computer. Plz buddy help me out.................

Same prob occured with my frnd. I told him to replace the CMOS battry with a new one. And after he replaced the prob was solved. So try changing the CMOS Battry.

ya it seems like your bios settings are getting reset due to a drained out battery.. do replace the battery and confirm.
