Default IDE????


Can i Add more than two IDE device on a IDE cunnector?
I have a Intel D845glly m board and IDE h.disk
I want to add 4 cd drive.

There is a PRIMARY IDE and a SECONDARY IDE, at the max u can add 4 devices to ur IDE connector (i.e: 2 devices from each IDE connector) and not more than tat.

Also, an IDE cable has jus 3 connectors, 1 goes into the IDE slot and the remaining 2 are present to connect to ur 2 remaining devices.

Oops sorry, forgot to mention the PCI IDE CARD....

Yes u can,by using a PCI IDE Expansion card.
