Default Installin PCI video card in Intel 865GBF..


Hello frens,

I have brought an second hand Ge force fx 5200 PCI video card for to be used in my P4 as well as P3 system which has no AGP slot. So how to install the PCI card in my P4 system, i have inserted the PCI slot into the pci local bus and and the monitort pin in to the card but cant get an display.

I have Intel 865GBF , P4 2.8 ghz, 2 Gb ram DDR 400 mhz ram and an 80 gb hard disk.

Plz tell me briefly......

the 865GBF has agp slot and also onboard intel extreme graphics. You have to change the setting in the bios. You have 2 choices i think, AGP or PCI. choose PCI.

Yup, absolutely rite bro, ganesh, in ur BIOS jus change the Video mode from AGP to PCI
