maybe the tray mechanism needs to get serviced. take it to the nearest service centre buddy and ask them to service and grease it well.

Is that a Samsung?
If it is, then dump it soon. I have a Samsung CD-RW & faced the same problem.
Visited the service center two times but it still dosent work properly.
