the price diff between both wud be very less..also i dont tihng 266 is available anymore..
333 and 400MHz is now standard
if 1 chip is 266 then the newer one even though 400 will run at 266.

make sure latency and other stuff are the same
otherwise their might be a prob of frequency mismatch and blue screens and restarts

u can run a DDR 400 but it will still run at 266.
If ur system bus is above 266 it is suggested that i sell this one and get a DDR 400 512Mb stick.
2 if dual channel is supported.

this is because u have 32Mb ram shared, 512-32=480
but ur mobo supports DDR 333 so u have either got DDR 266 ram actually or u have put the ram at 133Mhz by mistake

if ur ram is 333, it sud run 333 since ur mobo is also 333/266/200
so do 1 thing, if the ram is not in the first clot, put it in the slot nearest to the CPU.
also load optimized defaults on the motherboard and then make changes to BIOS as u like.
see if this helps, if it does no let me know

Dear Kniwor
You are correct, I checked, my 32Mb is shared.
My both slots has RAM.
One Blitz and the other one is Hynix.
I swaped the slots and tested with Hynix alone and Blitz alone in both slots. But no change it is still running in 266Mhz.
I checked BIOS setup. Under Frequency/Voltage Control option.
DRAM CLOCK Mhz: BY SPD
i changed to 133-DDR266
same dear, no change.
Please help me

The 2000+ runs at only 266Mhz. so u can't have ram running at more than this speed normally. your whole system bus is 266 because of your CPU.
