Default TV & DVI output problem


i have this GeFORCE fx 5200 256 MB card.i am not able to use the TV and DVI output facility. my TV is LG 29 inch flatron. i tried to connect the card wid the cable provided... but its not working.the TV screen remains blank.

i think you have to enable tv output or dual output in your display driver....then it shld work....btw are u using s-video or DVI?

The cable provided does not go into the S-video.The is for the normal video/audio type.do i need to get a new cable that has a pin for the S-video type??

u need to put the tv on video 1/2/3 depending on where u put the wire
also make sure its in the "yellow" plug in the tv

also ull have to explicitly enable tv out from "display" properties from control panel
under settings tab , advanced option look for a tab to choose ur output device as tv
then click apply
