Default Need help buying Laptop...

Hi guys...

I need help in buyin a Laptop...

My needs are:

1) For office use basically
2) A Little gaming is OK
3) Gigabit Ehernet
4) Wi-Fi
5) Provision to connect LCD Proj
6) A Quite decent battery life
7) Wide screen, preferably around 15"
8. Branded
9) DVD writer

Last but not the least...

It should not burn a hole in the pocket...

So the budget translates into somethin around 50k...

I went through the review in Digit Oct... But was not satisfied... almost all of them were Damn Costly and so called Lifestyle ones...

You pretty much want everything in the laptop, considering your budget Acer Aspire 5002 is the only option. Has everything what you need and costs 50k. you would probably want to add another 512 MB of RAM to it. Battery life would be around 2 hrs.

i have a dell inspiron 6000 which costs approx 63 k, but u will get everything u want!!
if ur budget is 50k go for compaq pressario or LG xnotes. but i m not sure abt the dvd writer!!

dell insiron 6000 is the perfect combination of performance, featres and price.

512 mb ram,80 gb HDD, intel centrino 1.6 ghz, dvd rw,15' wide screen,wi-fi, bluetooth etc etc.
and battery backup- 4:40 hrs in general and 3:50 hrs if u enable w-fi, video/audio playback.

good luck 4 u!
