Core clock speed..?

I have a problem which i am not sure about.
I bought an ASUS 6600 GT with AMD 3000+ and ASUS A8NE Along with 1 GB RAM. i got a score of 2780 in 3D MARK 05.
it was ok for me but then i noticed that it said that memory clock of the card was 1012 Mhz while VGA core clock was 301 Mhz.
Is not the core clock of 6600Gt 500 Mhz.

have u tried updating ur drivers may be that can solve it.also is the 3d mark scoremin. or max?

Its strange its always giving different things.......... Just now i saw 9.7 Mhz.
So now i am convinced its prob with 3D mark 05 n not the card as one of the provided asus utility shows 500 Mhz.
i got a score of 3590 this time continously for two trials.....

i guess a 3-4k score is pretty normal for a 6600gt.so i guess ur problem is solved.
