Default URGENT!!! Computer is not loading any OS?

Hi
I have WinXP and on dirve C and Fedora Core 4 on Drive G
Earlier i had the grub installed perfectly and i booted into the Linux.
After sometime when i tried to restart and boot into windows, after the BIOS screen i get the word "GRUB" written on the screen and a continuous beeping sound from somewhere
I tried to put the RAM into another slot, but the same problem
Dont know what it is but i cant get past this
I used the WinXP boot cd and tried to see,all the partitions are being recognized.I also tried the FIXBOOT option in the Rescue mode but to no avail
Please help its very URGENT
Thanks

Nothing would happen to your data. Only MBR- first sector of hdd, gets fixed. go ahead with it without any worries.
