New external modem gets dc ,gone wrong with settings ?

i Bought a new external dlink dfm 562 e ++ modem (v.92 56000bps data/fax/voice) ...which show amazing speeds on du meter ...that too with big variations..



here is how i ve adjusted the port setting ....please go through and see if i done some thing wrong.



it reaches up to 17 kB/sec (Transfer rate) to 0 in no time ..

i dont know if its the bsnl service problems..

i ve not faced such transfer variations on my internal modem (d link)
it used to give a maximum of 4 kB/sec
and there used to be a constant transfer rate of 2 to 3 kB/sec

i get dc around an interval of 10 to 15 minutes

Check your downloads by downloading a file. If you really get such high speeds then fell lucky for it and if not then you might look for other options.

Your DU meter is showing something else, Use DAP or something to download, they have the current Download speed display, that will give u correct picture

but the problem is with dc...it gets dc at a particular interval of time even without getting an incomeing call....notive the graph its variating too much
