Default slow clock

hi friends!!!

thnx for hlping me a lot. hope i get some answer
my clock on windows taskbar runs slower than the usual time. i get it slow by minutes. i had this problem since i bought my pc. i thought that the cmos battery might be expired or getting to, and i replaced it with a new battery. i still have a slower clock. though not as older times but it is slowing at the rate of one minute or so per day. how could i restore this? i am using an ASUS A7V266-MX hosting an AMD Athlon XP 2400+ processor and the pheonix bios.

Electronic clocks dont work that way .. low battery doesnt slow them down.
I think your motherboard clock's oscillator (or whtever it's called) is faulty..
That's why you have the problem since you bought it.
I think you should contact your vendor.
