Continuous ink supply system. Has anyone tried them?
Continuous ink system - Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaA continuous ink system (CIS), also known as a continuous ink supply system (CISS), a continuous flow system (CFS), an automatic ink refill system (AIRS), a bulk feed ink system, or an off-axis ink delivery system is a method for delivering a large and practically unlimited volume of liquid ink to a comparatively small inkjet printhead. Many business and professional grade printers incorporate a continuous ink system in their design to increase the speed and volume of printing capacity. Some aftermarket companies also build retrofit accessories to convert certain models of consumer-grade printers into continuous flow systems.
Basically its a method to have prints at the fraction of the cost of regular printing. Does anyone has any experience with these in india ?
There seem to be some shops in in nehru place , that offer to set this up.

Re: Continuous ink supply system. Has anyone tried them?
i have seen them at almost every xerox shop which offers color prints at 5 rs , etc, it is very cheap the ink tanks are away from printer and connected to printer by some wire, pipe, so you can see the ink level everytime and open the tank and fill ink. Very cheap and no issue of removing cartridge from printer as it would be replaced by CISS system.
