    Default OS drive corrupted!

    Guys, my 500GB internal HDD is acting weird.. I have another 1TB int. HDD(currently using), i can't get past windows loading screen even when 500GB HDD in connected as secondary drive..

    I tried connecting the HDD while in windows & the OS drive alone i not accessible..



    I have some very important files in this drive, what should i do?

    that system reserved partition should NOT show up, I think your partition tables are messed up

    Try using Ubuntu Live CD and accessing. Home | Ubuntu

    Yea megamind ubuntu live cd will help you out,You should have created image with some disc image utilities

    Tried it as my first option, hangs at 'setup is starting'..

    Now should i RMA the drive or format it on ubuntu & start using it?
