Computer Lagging please help
My PC configuration is:-
Processor- Intel Core2 Duo E7500 @ 2.93Ghz
Motherboard- XFX MG-63MI-7109
RAM- 4GB
Hard Disk- 232GB
Graphic Card- Ati Radeon 6850 HD "1GB"
Operating System-Windows 7 32-bit
I defragmented my hard disk, scanned for any viruses "nothing found" did all the tweaks & tricks i could
, then the last thing i did was formatted my PC but to the surprise my computer still lags and all my games lags too, what might be the problem PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME.

Clean the cabinet. Check the Hardware Temps. CPU tends to slow down when temp goes up.

4GB? It must show(and use) something less in Windows 7 32 bit. Install a 64-bit OS.
One: { Intel i5-2500, Intel DH67VR, 2x4GB DDR3 1333MHz, 1TB, LG supermulti External, Flatron w1943SE, ... }
Two: { Pentium D 805, -----, -----, 200 or 120 or both GB :D, -----, ... }
Three :D: { Pentium III 900MHz, Intel D815EEA, 2x256 MB 100 MHz, 40 GB, ... }

I cleaned the cabinet, motherboard and everything and now it is working FINE
NO LAGGING
seriously i never thought a dust can make a computer LAG THANK YOU very very much for your help

Clean up the Temp folder and close Unnecessary application from task manager and from processes tab and reduce Unnecessary start up application by UN checking then in MS config menu if possible ..

@ OP - check your HDD for bad sectors ... use win7 x64 with SP1 and install all latest updates for the OS and hardware drivers and tell us in details what type of lag you are facing.

what is the model No. of the Hard drive u r using. It maybe of less RPM if not, Get a new SSD for the windows OS and use your current HDD as storage Drive.

i have used 5400rpm HDD. doesn't lag. it is something else for sure.
