Default RAM Installation Query

I have a Phenom 965BE paired with an Asus M5A97 motherboard. I have 4 GB (2 x 2 GB) of memory, the G.Skill Ripjaws X Series F3-12800CL9-2GBXL, in slots 1 and 2 (which are black in color).

I received a 4 GB RAM stick (G.Skill Ripjaws X Series F3-12800CL9-4GBXL). Is there any particular slot arrangement for the RAM installation?

Thanks in Advance

Regards
CitizenVish

No, install the 4GB stick in the 3rd slot.

Thanks ArjunKiller

I tried that and every possible combination... Just couldn't get them to work... All RAM sticks are fine as individually they run well... Using the two 2 GB sticks also runs well... But using the three together seems to be a no go...

Right now, just using the single 4 GB stick...
