Default Need help in buying a UPS.

I am waiting for Piledriver.. But my old Mercury UPS (after 4 year of service) is behaving strangely now.. So i thought of buying a new UPS which i can also use in my future build.

A back up of atleast 15 minutes will be good.

My old UPS was able to draw power from my home Inverter.. So I am also looking for a new one that can also do same.

Thanks for your time

The bulldozer will be surely replaced by a piledriver.. But till it is like this

CPU :- AMD FX-4100 Zambezi 3.6GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor

Mobo :- GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990FX

RAM :- 2 X G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)

Video card :- 1 X Radeon HD 6850 (or any1 near 9K)

Optical Drive :- 1 X SAMSUNG 22X DVD Burner

HDD :- 1 X Any 250-500 GB Western Digital HDD

Monitor ;-BENQ LED 22" (G2222HDL)

An effective CPU cooler

An effective Power Supply Unit

APC 1.1KVA (5ooo bucks) or its younger sibling 800VA. Choose your power requirements.

intex 1.1kva is available for ~2000 & seems like a good value for money option.

If you can stretch your pockets go for any of the APC(800 VA or 1.1KVA)[Lot more recommended than Intex]
the Intex one isnt bad. Would give you a few minutes to turn off your PC(I think it should hold for 15 minutes)
