Black Screen Laptop Not Working

Well my friend has got a LENOVO laptop and while he was surfing net it suddenly got restarted on its own, then there was blackout and nothing ahead.

I tried to boot via CD/DVD/Flash drive all in vain. The BIOS is still responding though.


When i try to go ahead in boot selection menu It shows

IDE HDD: WDC WD5000BEVT-24A0Rt0-(S1
IDD ODD: HL-DT-STDVDRAM GT30n-(S5)
PCI BEV: Atheros Boot Agent

Boot Setup

Boot setup leads to BIOS options. Nothing happens in HDD and following coe appears in DVD and Atheros :-

Check cable connection!
PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel PXE ROM
Operating System not found

Please help.

Try a non-M$ installation.

thanx installed mint 12 but aint able to run net over wifi on it. Also window reinstallation now asking for some missing driver.
