Display port not working

I have a nvidia geforece 8400 installed.
and a intel dg41rq motherboard.

I have a display issue.

I am sure that i have the latest drivers installed.

The monitor goes into stand by ( goes blank ) and pops out again in few seconds ( sometimes takes longer, sometimes doesnt come back )

The problem doesnt appear in the safe mode

What should i do to fix this?

2. The VGA PORT on the motherboard is not even detected. There is no display output when i plug the monitor to it.

3. The graphics driver supplied by intel for the motherboard graphics chip doesnt install stating it doesnt meet the minimum requirements for install to proceed any further.

E5200
2GB RAM

4. I have formatted the system, but the problem resurfaced.
5. I am pretty much sure that there is no virus.

You have an nvidia graphics card.So install the latest drivers for nvidia 8 series.
