WiFi modem problem
I've a BSNL WiFi modem. Using the modem my broadband works fine in my PC. My phone (Galaxy Y) detects the WiFi connection but i'm unable ro surf the web using it. What should i do?
Please don't suggest giving it back to BSNL as it is last option

Re: WiFi modem problem
I use a dial up connection to connect to internet. I think i don't use PPPoE as the light indicating it is not glowing

I'm now surfing with Galaxy y myself to post here using BSNL broadband over wifi.
U must do setting to PPPOE to surf in this handset or get an application from market which work as PPPOE dialer. I searched earlier but didn't find any freeware. So changes my setting to PPPOE from router.

Re: WiFi modem problem
For wifi, either activate DHCP in your router or config the IP address, subnet mask, gateway & DNS in your phone manually.

Consult the guide given to you while installing the modem.
or, try the following combos.
U: admin
