plz any can tell me is compaq sr1924il support 4gb ram


i have upgrade my ram to 4gb so plz help me is sr1924il support 4gb dddr2 800mhz ram

my motherboard Specifications is:-


1 Motherboard manufacturer's name: ECS RC410-M
2 HP/Compaq name: Asterope2-GL8E

i have 2 memory slot

my installed ram is 2gb dddr2 667 mhz (1gb and 1gb)

so plaz help me urgnt

yes it doesnt, infact I am amazed how you got 667 FSB RAM, it supports 533 FSM RAMs max 2GB. Though adding 667 FSB or 800 FSB RAM is fine and they will work on lower clock I do not think HP would have given lesser FSB ram
