XBOX 360 controller not working

i recently bought xbox 360 controller for 1.2k.
all drivers installed.depending on pinnacle game profiler to work with it...

any solutions or driver software please
genuine windows 7 and original xbox controller
i calibrated xbox controller on control panel..
but i didn't tested the controller on my friends house..

what OS version are you on?
If you have tried everything test the controller on a friends PC to make sure theres nothing wrong with the controller itself.
can u calibrate the controller via the control panel?

You posts are not clearly tell us what problem you do have. Please explain the exact problem.

at first i connected the controller,windows recognizes the device and installed the drivers automatically..and restart required to use that device...
after restarting no buttons work except the big center X button.
when i use the pinnacle game profiler it works perfectly...
can i download extra drivers or replacing the device?pls help me...

For which game ur trying, did u change controller in settings coz old games need to manually change the controller type.

dead island,elder scrolls,spiderman shattered dimensions,cod mw3..
xbox 360 controller works on these games with the help of pinnacle game profiler

i recently buy the super street fighter 4 A.E.
when i play this the xbox controller works perfectly without problems..
i just know about that the controller works on only Xinput supported games
is this true?
but i cant use the controller as mouse why?
any solutions?
