1.Should i get ddr-400 ram ( i asked the seller for ddr-400 but he gave ddr-226 and after complaining about the problem i exchanged it for ddr-400 but again i got the same ddr-266 ram)?

2.Should i continue with this ddr-266 ram,if i keep this ram(ddr-266) will there be any disadvantage or damage to my computer.

Thank you

Default Re: Please help!Problem with RAM

the 400 mhz ram will only run at 266 mhz - there won't be any disadvantage or any further issue.

If your pc is stable and running just fine with both mem modules installed then there's nothing to worry about
