ups doesn't give backup while gaming

Hi guys i have an intel i7 920 on an x58 with 4 gb ddr 1333 ram,a zotac gtx 480 a 21" dell monitor.A couple of months ago my ups (luminous 1 kva) would no longer give power backup if i was playing a game , while it would if i wathcing a movie or surfing the net . I have tried another ups microtek 1 kva , but the problem persists. Nowadays when my pc is connected to a 32" led tv even a small fluctuation in voltage causes the pc to restart .Plz help

You're overloading the UPS

at first It looks like ups must be overloading.. when you game your GPU needs full power and this is what ups could not provide.. but you have 1KVA this must be more then enough for your system..

Pls tell us about your rig so we can calculate your whole power load..

For your current ups.. It looks faulty to me. .

do you have any problem if their is no power failure? while playing games.

what psu are you using? some psu have excellent efficiency at low load but raise the load & efficiency goes to hell.

this in turn affects the ups.
