Check if the Hard Disk power connector and SATA connector is properly connected.

if S.M.A.R.T values are ok then it is most likely a power/connector related problem.

is it a pata HDD? check with a new cable. happens usually when cable is badly twisted.

^^ check the SMART status of those HDDs - use HDTune pro or your HDD manufacturers official diagnostic tool for that.

Make sure your hard disk is fixed firmly. Loose cable (power or data) is the most likely cause. Also try a different SATA port on the mother board.
