Default AMD Fan Broke down

Hey guys,
I was watching a movie than my pc just shutdown, I restarted to check but it wasn't so I unplugged and checked and it started fine but shutdown again, than I open the cabinet and the processor fan was not working so I clean all the dust and try again it worked fine.

so do I need a new processor fan now, If yes please recommend me a good one which work fine for 2-3 years and more , also my AMD phenom X2 550 BE is still in guarantee, should I contact AMD or just buy a new one, My config is below

AMD phenom x2 550 BE
cooler master cabinet 310

^^ you can contact AMD for a replacement HSF or buy a third party one - CM Hyper TX3 will cost you some 1200 bucks or CM Hyper 212+ or 212 Evo @ 2k and these are better than any stock HSF - also with third party HSF you can OC your cpu as an added bonus

both of them can be OCed - for cpu ocing take a look at this thread and if you have any further query you can post there - you will get a good list of OC along with links here
http://www.thinkdigit.com/forum/over...on-thread.html

To OC HD4850 use a app called Rivatuner
download from Guru3D.com
and to get a fair idea about how to OC it follow this link

@king of all,
you can easily OC your CPU as topgear has told.even it is easy to oc as it is a BE means unlocked multiplier.just go to BIOS increase the clock multiplier at 0.5 increments and each time check for stability using prime 95.also keep an eye on temp to keep it below 65C.
BTW i suggest you to go for 212plus or 212 evo at the same price than tx3 as it won't benefit you much above your stock.just google for the review of tx3 and you will find it.
Cooler Master Hyper 212EVO-Ebay
for 4850 use MSI after burner it is the best OC tool out there and it is also from riva tuner only but with some added features like taking screen shot,capturing in game video....btw it will work even if your GFX card is not from MSI.good luck for OC.

^^ you're right getting Hyper 212 Evo really does make more sense and when two fan attached it can perform neck to neck with some liquid coolers
