Keyboard/Mouse for Gaming
Hello Guys,
I need to change my trusty old keyboard and mouse. recently I have started gaming and want to buy a new set.
Requirement
1. Palm rest necessary for keyboard.
2. Configurable DPI resolution needed for the mouse, good if the mouse has at least three possible DPI configuration .
3. Kbd/Mouse should be ergonomic
Budget Rs. 2,500 - 3,000 (for KBD+Mice), I can increase the budget if needed. I'm Not sure if there are any wireless combos exclusively designed for gaming!
Will buy this weekend

Get razer deathadder or Logitech mx518 for mouse.
A Logitech regular KB should do the job. It sells for 800/- can't recollect the name.

Razer DeathAdder looks nice, mx518 looks uncomfortable.
BTW I dont think DeathAdder comes with a DPI setting button on the top of the mouse right?

Thats big brother of legendary MX518. You can't go wrong with this one, if it fits your budget buy it.

Re: Keyboard/Mouse for Gaming
No good gaming keyboard come below 2k , starting with razer arctosa at 2100 /- , if low on budget you can go with TVS gold (not gamign but mechanical) will make lotta noise but is nevertheless a awesome keyboard according to reviews.

Re: Keyboard/Mouse for Gaming
Looks like I have to increase my budget a little for a proper keyboard. Any other recommendation other than Logitech K350 or Razer Arctosa ?

Re: Keyboard/Mouse for Gaming
@ Charan: Gaming mouse is worth the money but i don't think a gaming keyboard. Better get a good wireless comfort keyboard or if you have money then go for Mechanical Keyboard (Not Razer Blackwidow).

They are useful given the condition that you know how to make the most of them.

Re: Keyboard/Mouse for Gaming
The TVS gold as a mechanical keyboard also makes a good keyboard for gaming as well (my friend plays CS1.6 on that and is 1 of the best players i have ever seen evne if gameplay does not depend on keyboard) , if you are ready to pay extra at 3.4k you can buy a g110 excellent VFM keyboard , after that you have razer lycosa (good keyboard but user reviews report problem in 10 outta 20 cases) . then you have logitech g15 at 4.1k or a logitech g510 arnd 4.4k

Re: Keyboard/Mouse for Gaming
ok I am going for Logitech G400 Mouse. I liked the reviews of Logitech G110, but the total budget goes up by 1.5K. Still cannot decide on the keyboard.

Re: Keyboard/Mouse for Gaming
its been more than three months and I haven't bought the keyboard/mouse , actually I became very comfortable the Xbox 360 controller and hence I didn't buy the keyboard/mouse.
But now I have to replace the keyboard due to some problem with the PS2 converter.
I am thinking about this Logitech Gaming Combo G100 Keyboard: Keyboard
fits my budget also .. only thing I wanted to know is that if this keyboard is a low profile (key) keyboard or not.
