enabling RAID 0 with seagate 500GB and samsung 1000GB

guys today i got a 1000GB samsung HDD(7200RPM,3GB/S,32MB cache)
and i tried to enable RAID 0 with these two with maximum storage as 1000GB but the windows 7 in my old seagate refuses to boot and even after doing startup repair it won't start.both the disk are shown and usable in windows 7 without RAID 0.so how to enable RAID 0 with these two HDDs?

for enabling raid u fist need to setup raid in the bios as well as the raid bios
then install the fresh os with the raid drivers slipstremed use vlite

but all ur data will be wiped

is it not possible to do it by editing registry as we do for enbling raid and then change it in bios.actually i found that tutorial by googling and i am not sure how to do it for enabling RAID 0 for 2HDD of different capacities.
i tried to get that article again but i am not able to find it.

^^ i have read an article about enabling intel achi in xp through registry but i dont think raid is possible like that
