Exclamation Computer Turns On and Then Immediately Turns Off

[for my rig please refer my signature]

My pc was working fine and I was playing all latest games at medium settings ....
Problem happened when I was playing fifa 12 ...
Suddenly the monitor when black ......but the cpu fans were workings...
i pressed the restart button ... but it didnt work ....
therefore i switched off the main switch and after few secs i switched it back on
Here the problem started...

When I switched it back on all the LED fans of powersupply and front LED of cabinet and also the processor fan started spinning but only for few secs...

Now i tried switching my RAM in another socket...
No help !!
I also disconnected the hard disk and put it back on
no help !!

Now what else can be the prob?
[Dont tell me my mobo has crashed !!!]

[also When I switch on the main switch my monitor starts up as it should but even my deathadder mouse's scroll LED starts up !! ... its connected to the mobo so does this prove my mobo is not dead?]
can it be due to lack of thermal paste ?
I dont think the engineer put any coz in new hardware the thermal paste is already on the procy or am I wrong?

sorry for my poor english

ty a lot !!

it may be due to the psu. that same happened for me. Cooler Master GX650 . I have replaced it.

You may check ur rig with a working psu.

Most probably its problem with 20/24pin ATX connector. Cross check with any other PSU.

PSU seems to be the culprit.

that's true. But somehow you can be happy for the fact that Bulldozer has failed and they sold you FM1 instead of AM3+. Now IF Trinity has backwards compatibility with FM1, you're good to go. (but yea, that's an IF)
