Wink Hp w1907 turns off


Hii

i am using Hp w1907 for past 3 years but since past few days my monitor turns off automatically and restarts.

this issue was with my old PC but a couple of days ago i bought a new PC and still the problem persists.

i am using at 1440*900 resolution.

using at my laptop the problem is still there.
at laptop i am using at 1152*720 resolution.

since it's first day i am using it at 1440*900 resolution and i had no problem.
so please help me out quickly as now the problem is increasing and i am not able to work

Its probably overheating.

Try to lower the refresh rate.

my monitor does not support any other refresh rate other than 60 hertz

Try to clean it.
Try a different cable/port.

Hard to say whats wrong with it.

i already tried changing cable and on different electricity socket too but still no luck

is the monitor connected to a ups if yes then is the power supply of the monitor is provided by an adapter or directly anyways i think its a hardware fault u need to take it to the service center for repairs

i think i figured out the issue the power button on the top has gone faulty. so i think the monitor needs to be replaced but i don't know whether it is still in warranty.

if it is out of warrenty period, then, sadly there is no use of replacing the screen (i.e. monitor)
