Why did all the contents in DVD got corrupted?

It hurts; usually I use to make DVDs of such file which I have downloaded or got from any friend. This time I made so. And deleted the files from the Hard Drive. Now when I needed some of those file then I inserted the DVD and… fount that when I open:
exe file : it opens with CMD like application and closes
txt file : open with notepad (or appropriate app. but is blank)
7z file : “This is not a valid 7z archive.”
Jpg file : “No Preview Available” (Windows Fax and Image Viewer)
After all I want to say that all the content of DVD got corrupted/waste.
* I used Nero 6 in this case..

am aso going through same. cd`s were more reliable than dvd. am now even scared 2 delete my data from hdd.

try isobuster, u might get lucky.

That is the problem with your DVD writer.

A tip: Do not use more than 4.10GB space in a normal DVD5 disk while creating a data disk.
