Default Computer restarts??


Computer configuration
Processor: Intel i3-530 @2.93GHz
Memory: 4GB Ram
Graphic Card: nVidia Geforce 9400 GT
Cabinet: POWERO (china-made)
Model No.: CIT-101
SMPS: POWERO 450W(internal)

for the past few days my computer starts and restarts again and again.....i thought it might be a SMPS problem although its just a year old...its a china-made thing and i dnt know wat to do....pls help and if it has to be replaced then do suggest which one to buy...

It may or may not be the PSU. It could also be one of a number of things. When does it restart? While you're using it or during boot-up?

One of the first things you should do is to remove the RAM and reseat it firmly. If there's more than one RAM stick, try them one at a time. If that makes no difference, test it (them) with memtest86.

Other things you can check: Is the CPU fan running normally? Is the heatsink clean, not choked with dust?

okay....the system is a year old with my PSU and Ram china mades.....also i just bought the INTEX 450W PSU....now after i connected it to the whole system,.....the new problem is that the PC is making noise as if something is not properly connected with beeping sound after 4 beeps...

I repeat - test your RAM(s) first. These things have to be done step by step. Follow my instructions in my earlier post and report the result.

Even if you're not familiar with memtest86, at least try removing and re-inserting the RAM(s). How many sticks do you use anyway - one 4GB stick, 2x2GB or 4x1GB?

1x4gb ram but i checked it on my friends pc and its working properly....

or
