iPod Touch 2nd Gen Screen Woes

Hey guys recently i hav been troubled by my Apple iPod Touch 2nd Generation.
the problem is that last year i got a few cracks on the screen after it fell down. it didn't messed up the touch input as i expected but all of a sudden now after an year the screen just goes completely white at random. also when charging or when the screen is white the area around charging socket n the audio jack gets hot. the applicaions are fine. there is no loss to the hard disk. n every thing else is fine. even the touch input is working perfectly. just this screen n heating issue. please advise wat to do. or just diagnose the problem.

the details for the iPOD are -
Apple iPod Touch 2nd Generation 8gb
Firmware - iOS v4.2.1
Jailbroken using redsn0w 0.9.6b4

There isnt anything we can do now. Probably it as become more serious after prolonged use with damaged.


Send it to Apple for repairs
